Been watching all vids on. The ledgen even in different languages, Watching the basher vids to I come to think some of the automatic ground blance are off need to do a maual ground blance like old days .Should be running plus 1 , sound like it running to positive or to negative. Been watching some people have no problems others have problems. Still holding off on buying one.Hope it get worked out. Been huting about 20 years 9 different machine 2 to 3 coils for each.Have a racer 2 like the company.

Ive had one about a month, have not put in the updates. Today was the first time I’ve been out with it for a few hours. The rest of the time just a few minutes here and there because of weather. Very happy with this unit

If anyone has a good process for manual balance please share. If I do automatic I get a radically different number every time when done in the same location.

I do not know if you have gotten an answer to your question or not, but can you walk us through how you are ground balancing your legend and I do have a reason for asking

here is how i do a auto ground balance and I have done this with every detector I use for several years

I do a noise cancel first, I then adjust the sensitivity to max lower the threshold to off or lowest threshold setting that is allowed on what ever detector I am using, I set to all metal this is all done after I scan the ground to make sure there are no metal objects where I will be ground balancing once it is determined there is no metal objects I then proceed with my auto ground balance, I have done it this way for several years and it has always worked good for me on every detector I have used, the reason you want it set to max sens is it allows the detector to hear as much ground noise that it can, I was taught this method by a seasoned gold detectorist several years ago

once you get the ground balance finished you then set the sensitivity to where you want it and the threshold to where you want it, if you have not messed with the threshold settings in the legend park, field and beach modes are aready shut off the gold mode is the only mode that the threshold is set to 12 and the threshold pitch is set to 13 the threshold pitch to me seems to be a sort of or acts like a sort of volume for the threshold (this is just my observation) try what I have suggested and see if the Ground balance numbers are not closer to what you think they should be when you auto ground balance, you should also do this every time you switch to a different mode
