Going to need some AA batteries for my new Minelab V440....really want to get rechargeables...anyone experienced with those? So many choices out there now...

Doc, tho this info may be a bit dated when I had my explorer and ex II I used NI-MH rechargeable called the eneloop made by sanyo. They are an 1900mAh battery and still hold a great charge after all these yrs. Don't know if these are still made, maybe even a better updated version is available now.

Good choice to go the rechargeable route. Mark ( ohio )
 
Ditto, on the Eneloops. (Still made/available!)
They hold their charge in unused devices better than any rechargeable I've tested....and like Mark mentioned, they also hold their rated capacity longer than any other brand I've tested.

PS - They also 'go bad' far, far less frequently than other brands.
 
Hey Doc…RNB makes a pack for the Vanquish, might want to google that and check into it.
