Well-known member
i have a river with clean water not deep so what is ideal freq and program to use ?

high or low freucency /
??

Lower for coins, Higher for gold

Try a beach program.
Your river may have some blacksand. The freshwater river and lake I hunt has some heavy blacksand.

its mostly clean shingle with a bit of back sand but not much d1 goes deep in it so far .takes time to remove the items

I always use frequency 18khz.

I once tried using the 9" round HF coil in 30khz, but the problem over and over was I was finding tiny pieces of aluminum tin that just went through the scoop each time.

18khz is a killer on both gold and silver.
