Legend 1.08 update installation question

I seem to be having a problem downloading the 1.08 update. I installed the 1.07 update a couple of weeks ago, and after watching a video on it, had no trouble. That update shows some 31,000kb, but when I tried to download the 1.08 update, it only shows something like 500kb. Obviously, the update is not downloading on my computer. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Spent 4 hours yesterday & 3 today trying to download 1.08, using two different laptops, something is missing or not correct.
New a couple months ago, came with 1.05, did not load 1.07 as many said it had some issues and decided to wait for 1.08, which I cannot get to load.

all I can tell all you is good luck it took me 17 hours to finally get the new 1.08 installed to both mine and my wife's Legends and there was no rhyme or reason as to why it finally decided to work.

download the update from Nokta/Macro website check and make sure your firewall and anti virus is all off before you do the download then locate the download and extract all run the setup it will install a new updater tool once the updater tool is there plug your legend into a USb port click the updater tool when it is up click the 3 little dots at the bottom right hand corner of updater tool find the 1.08 bin file select it and all I can say is good luck again there is no rhyme or reason as to why it works for some and others like myself it does not work that easy again it took me 17 hours to get it to finally install and if nokta/Macros tech team would have seen what mine did they would not keep saying its user error.
 
It maybe because I am not a computer whiz, but I finally took mine down to the local computer repair/service shop after 5 tries at home. I fumbled thru the first two updates but Could not get V1.08 to load.
Hopefully NM will find a way to make it simpler.
 
I guess this is what retirement was for? Oh boy, cant wait to see whats happens with me, better get the granddaughters on staff…… lol
 
Took me over an hour to download 1.08. I did a Factory Reset and all appears to be good so far. Have not had a chance to hunt in June and July. Very little rain here in Middle Tennessee and the ground is like concrete. Nice rain last night and hopefully more on the way today.
 
On a Mac, program loaded but it would not send the file to the Legend. I closed the program and reopened it, it then detected the legend and started updating. Took about 10 Min?
 
Curious as to the error message you receive when the Legend update doesn't work? I've tried for 5 days and am no closer to the download.
 
Try rebooting your computer, rebooting the legend, then try it, then try rebooting the legend again. Then unplug the USB from your computer, plug it back in, try it again.
 
OK; here's a puzzler for ya; I accidently loaded the Legend 1.09 update and it loaded flawlessly. I now have 1.09 version on my Legend. Is that a problem or am I good to go? In other words, is the 1.09v also loaded with 1.08v update?
 
Do a Factory reset with the V1.09 loaded. Then see if you have the adjustable Iron filter setting available. If so, you are fully updated.
