That is the regular price for the puck control version of the D2
With that you get the pole assembly, puck master controller,and coil. No main remote.

Apparently it comes with 9” coil not 11”
Personally for $635 you can get the Legend with 11” coil or $750 the pro pack with 6” and 11” plus external battery and use it in dry and wet. Jmo.
Competition is good though. Maybe ML will release a nice all purpose detector comparable for $800 in range with everyone else.
