Settings for Deus 2 Relic Hunting

Howdy Deus2 Users-

I’ve been using the new Deus2 Beast 😆since mid February 2022 and have approximately 3.5 months under my belt and I am very pleased with my civil war relic bullets/buttons and coins I’ve recovered thus far having used the original Deus. I don’t civil war/colonial during the warmer months but will be digging again starting October here in Virginia where I live. I have been using the General Program till I feel more comfortable using other programs such as Deus Fast or the new Relic program.

I primarily used Deus fast on the original Deus I had for over a year before I traded up and bought the Deus 2 but do not like the new Deus fast on the Deus 2; I guess it’s the tomes that I don’t care for lol.

My question for those of you who civil war/colonial Rev War here in Virginia or East Coast US-what is your preferred program for the Deus 2? I’m curious to learn what others are using and results. Happy Hunting Deus 2 users !

I'm currently using the Deep HC with a few tweaks and have done pretty well with it going over some hard hit spots down here in the Hanover/Henrico area. I'm waiting on cooler weather also. Good luck hunting.

Deep HC pitch.
I did a lot of testing and my findings showed it has the most accurate ID on deeper targets.
If I hunt heavy iron I use Fast pitch.

I haven't quite settled on my colonial site settings yet. Mostly modified versions of Fast, and Deep HC. But Park really surprised me recently at a worn out site and I haven't yet quite figured out why it sniffed out a few keepers.....including a couple of pewter buttons which is of interest if you are hitting Rev War sites.
