I got out yesterday. It felt good to do some relic hunting.

I have a question. 3rd pic, bottom right corner of the melted lead. Do you see anything in this piece when you look at it closely? Like a rabbit standing up, slightly hunched over? Ears at the top of the piece, or is this just me? Something like this, or is my imagination going wild?

Those are some nice finds. I have got to get out and do more relic hunting this year. Your finds gave me a bigger fever than I already had. Congratulations

Its just a splat of lead buddy. It looks like a rabit in the picture though.

Most times as it turns out, it's just melted camp lead, but if something catches my eye, I have sometimes been surprised upon further examination with a magnifying glass to find some pretty small detailed carvings in lead. I found a small shield a while back with US in the center of the shield. This was found in the rear of some Federal Trenchs.
