In The Old Bricks

Old homeplace Warren county Ga nothing left but old bricks and plow blades and hoes. Lots of relics and finally a 1886 Indian Head penny last week. Been over this small patch last few months and got a deep signal 52 on the Legend. After digging through and around bricks and probably old foundation stone this popped out. Thought it was gonna be neat and after putting in my hand. A few hours soaking in vinegar salt bath and little too brushing my first large cent. Long way to travel from Philly. I know not alot of value but this gets the heart to jumping.

That’s a beauty and cleaned up very nicely!

Very nice. I'm still looking for one.

Nice save on the large cent. We don't see them all that often around here. After 5 decades, I finally got my first one this past year. In fact, dug 3 in total from the site. Good hunting! HH jim tn

Confused….. date appears 1852 on coin but you said VDI was 52, was that a brain scramble? 52 on VDI would be quarter…..

I like the way that cleaned up, good job!!!!
