Equinox 600 and 800 on sale everywhere!

Sold my last year with 2 coils and got enough for a new CTX3030. Kind of figured the prices would drop with the XP2 out and manticore coming. Didn't know about the 700/900. Going to stick with the XP2. I personally don't see anything in the published specs on the 800 or Manticore to dump the XP2. Love the wireless headphones and pinpointer. Makes life a lot easier when recovering targets. Really got to not like the swing harness for the CTX.

I've had two 800s on a market place for sale, I think it's been a little over a week now and haven't gotten an offer.

I have a neigbor looking for a Equinox 800 preferably with a 6" coil.
He is retired on a fixed income, and has a $500 budget.
If anyone has a Nox 800 for sale at $500 or so, let me know.
We are not too concerned about accessories, or remaining warranty, as long as its in decent, working condition.

Thanks in advance.

I wish I could help you out but I'd be surprised if you were in easter nc. I have the 11in coil and I want to sell local to avoid shipping and the new armed IRS agents.

CoinShooter -- I do have an Equinox 600 that is barely used (though out of warranty; it was my EQ 800 backup machine). I could sell it WITH the 6" coil AND a brand-new pair of BT-80 headphones that are IDENTICAL to the ML-80, but without Minelab logo (i.e. unbranded) for $425 plus shipping, or with carbon-fiber shaft installed for $495 plus shipping...

Let me know, if interested.

Steve

Thought about the new ones; decided to keep my 800. Worked well before the 900 and Manticore came out. Figure it should keep working well.
