First outing with Manticore

Nice going, Jeff !
That is a tough field to hunt......Pretty impressive with that big a piece of iron in the hole !
Sounds like great separation .......

Minelab technology has always been at the top but before I spend what they are asking for the Manticore I want to see if they fixed all their quality control and build issues.

My thoughts as well, too bad it was so freackin' cold I would have liked to do some more comparisons.

Agreed it is a lot to spend, been in the timber with heavy undergrowth and nothing obvious yet. It doesn't mind the cold like some older machines, the screen is not sluggish at all.

Sounds pretty impressive so far, looking forward to more of your experiences with the Manticore.

Indians read lower than any other cent with the exception of fatties and flying Eagle which read even lower. I was surprised with the range on the Indians but thinking back they had a spread on the Equinox as well so I shouldn't be. The 100 spread on the ID should help distinguish targets.
If I'm remembering correctly, I H cents read a little lower on every detector I have ever used that had tid. F 75's, T 2's, AT Pro's, Omega, Simplex and Nox 600, to name a few of more recent vintage that did. HH jim tn
