I headed to a beach with all the wind and erosion and cold I hoped digging would be ok.
Well it was very tough to even dig as with all the very high tides the sand was frozen but I managed a few wheat Pennie’s and clad.
The 900 fit and feel are great arm cuff is super nice arm fits with layers of clothing the all tones sounds great I like it better than the 50 tones I sounds better.
The new handle is also very nice and has a better feel with nthe new angle and stop on the backside.
I also stopped along my way back to detect in the woods I stopped at a sand pit I’ve always walked by thinking it would be a good spot because it was not frozen and sure enough it was all unfrozen!
I only had a few hours with the 900 I’ll be out again tomorrow probably back on the Ct river at the yacht v Ct lib tides are perfect in the early am.
To sum up my little time I’ve had it using the 900 it feels much better preferment great is it way better I’d say it’s better I’m glad i upgraded and I will stick with the 900 and definitely be happy .
The coil and new bolt systems are a big improvement as you do not even have to tighten the screw it’s nice and snug when you install the coil it’s a super tight fit I used some soapy water to get it together and it will not flop at all.
Here’s a video of my best find today a big coin it was such a screaming signal I had to film it.
I will give some more feedback as I put more hours on it I really like it…
