I got myself a Tek Point pin pointer for Xmas , I normally use the trx. Man that sucker is noisy, started messing with the frequency to quiet the Ctx down but still noisy. I love the trx never had this problem. The Tek Point is a pretty nice unit, solid for sure and every bit as deep as the trx. The Ctx must be bitching because it’s a non minelab pin pointer

changed up the frequency on the pin pointer found a quieter one would have been easier to know what frequencies the pinpointer works on, when in doubt check the fcc list. On it

I have a backup pulse induction pinpointer that will make my CTX go crazy if I point it towards the coil. Is your Tek Point a pulse?

Yes, the Tek Point is a pulse.

Ctx does not like the pulse, next question is with all the squirrelly will it affect the settings?
