It’s been a great start first couple of hunts with the 900 I like it a lot you won’t be disappointed with the 900 the quality the new features make it a really nice machine hit a bunch of silver dimes A nice tiger eye stone sterling ring and a lot of clad.
Park 1
No discrimination
Sensitivity 22-24
I prefer park 1on the 900 so far,

8 silvers and a great looking ring I'd concur is a great start. Still on the fence between the 900 and Manticore, but I use Park 1 on my 600 the vast majority of the time. Good hunting! HH jim tn

That's the amount of silver you find back in the 1980s.

Congratulations, looks like the 900 is treating you well. Thought you preferred field mode on the 800, am I wrong?
Curious to know your comments about the different modes and settings as you use your new 900.

Thank everyone the 900 is a better detector all around compared to the 800 no doubt the hunting modes definitely are similar to the 800 but the tones are different in each now I prefer the park mode1.
I always listen to the tones and park 1 just hits and sounds better The all tones sounds good also compared to the 50 as in the 800.
I sold my 800 to a good friend I can't justify having more than 2 detectors at one time I like one for a backup.
