3 Gold Rings and some Bridge Work

Hello All,
The storm brought some 14’ waves and really moved some sand. I hunted one beach that was thick with black sand. I found lots of change but I wasn’t able to dial in my Deus 2 and get it to stop giving me low tones from the black sand. Then I went to a different beach yesterday and hunted for four hours. I found three 14k gold rings and some dental bridge work. All the other rings are junk. One of them is even stamped 14k. I’d like to go back today but I have band rehearsal right during low tide. My body could use a little rest anyway. I’ll try and get back tomorrow.

Yeah, and the tide was still way out when I left. I dug so many holes (and filled them) that I was ready to drop. It reminded me of a story by Tolstoy called “How Much Land Does a Man Need”, where a guy makes a deal to buy land. The deal is he gets as much as he can hike in a day. He ends up dropping dead with the Devil laughing at him in the end.

Nice finds Zac thats the problem I have with my Deus 2 and the tides here this weekend they were so early am ugh.

I know SanDiego area got some monster waves…..
That much gold in one day would make me put goretex briefs on and just go until I died rich…… just sayin!

Whoever lost that row of teeth had a really bad day at the beach. It's always creepy when body parts are attached to your finds.
