Whistling up the wheaties

Went to a local park today this afternoon that I’ve hunted pretty hard in the past but was able to pull four wheats . But no silvers!
While walking back to my pickup I got a 18-19 on my Nox it turned out to be a whistle with a dog head on it. After doing a little research looks like it’s a little orphan Annie dog whistle made around 1940. As you move the plunger in and out it changes the pitch of the whistle.
