What is EQ800 Worth?

I have the new Manticore. I am going to sell my EQ800. What are they now worth? Mine is out of warranty. Always had screen cover. Rest of machine had a custom cover all the way down to coil. Thinking around 600 usd. I do have the12x15 coil also. But might be going to a relative.
 
I have one I was considering selling and purchasing me a Manticore. I purchased mine May 14, 2020 therefore, it still is under warranty. I was wondering what I should ask for it?
Mine has 'very little use'. I probably have not swung it for a full (30) thirty minutes. Just like new!
I will wait and see how your detector sells. I have been watching the latest detectors and have decided on the Manticore. How do you like your Manticore. Good luck!
 
I sold one out of warranty with upgrades for 525. Sold one still under 1 year warranty with upgrades for 560. But with the extra coil you may get the 600.
 
If I was a buyer of an off warranty unit the max would be about $300 since that approaches the cost of a new control pod and shipping to Minelab. The repair issues on the early Equinox models is no joke and anyone ignoring that is living dangerously.

When the Manticore & Equinox 900 really starts rolling in the prices on used Equinox 800s are going to take a big hit (especially ones that are out of warranty).

You will take a beating selling it now. Obviously that choice is up to you. Personally, I’d keep it as a back up machine…just in case.
 
I guess it is still worth more to me than somebody else. I do have the E-trac and F75 LTD as backups

Have you sold your detector? I am strongly contemplating placing my 'like new' detector and did not want to: I will wait and see how your detector sells.
Being a man of my word, I did not want to list mine for sale at this time. I will be asking $600.00 for mine: Firm. And, the purchaser will have to absorb shipping costs.

Guys, I need a 6" coil for my Equinox. Called one dealer and he wanted $169.00. Seems a little high but maybe that is the "range". I would take a used coil, in good shape naturally, but I can't find one. Any recommendations? Off brands, etc?

Have we waited too long? Many models are ready to sell that will go extremely deep and they are selling new for under ($300.)) three hundred dollars.
The newer models are extremely impressive!

I have a used 6” coil and a lower shaft I’m looking to sell, if you haven’t found one. Both in perfect condition. Message me for details.
