Maticore in the water

What water, ice here and got 11 plus inches of snow overnight. Couldn’t test even if I had one.
Won’t be this way in a couple of months and water levels are down at most of the reservoirs, might be able to find some good picking spots.

Find me one to buy and I'll try in my hot river spot I've been searching on guy forgot his channel knew of 3 at a store and he was helping people
to get them.

There are many reports of guys using the Manticore in the water on several Facebooks groups and other forums with no problems so far. The fact that it's winter and a limited supply of machines is slowing down the water hunters posting.

Saw one on flea bay but it ain’t cheap 2395.95 and they collect taxes on top + 24.95 shipping.

Hoping to see a bunch of people detecting in the surf with the new Manticore to find out if they really fixed the leakage problem and if the new ears on the coil hold up. There was an Australian kid doing a lot of metal detecting in the surf in Vietnam with the Equinox 800, was hoping Minelab would give him one to test.

I seriously doubt the coil will ever give anyone a problem its a new design that's one of the best new designs on the Manticore.

Submerged it in the tub for an hour, hose it off after every use no problems yet. All the lakes are iced over. I always use it under water

As they are so hard to get at the moment. I wouldn't want to risk not being able to use it. So no plans for mine going swimming just yet. Plus still to cold here in Ohio to be out in the water.....
