A few finds today...

I got out for a little today and started at an old house where I found three wheats and the 1902 IH cent.
The yard has been overgrown, but was cleared somewhat recently.
Later on I searched some woods near another
old house near a recreational trail and stumbled across the ring.
Any ideas about the other object in the photo?
I am thinking it is part of a door latch... it looks familiar ... either I have found one before or saw one posted on the forum.
Thanks for looking!

Nice score on the wheaties and IH! When I first saw your unidentified piece I thought of a ball joint separator lol but I know it’s not that. Maybe it’s a rare tuning fork 😂

That's neat. I have found complete mortise locks before. I wonder if some kid took that one apart 100+ years ago. I would have.

I was hoping for the seven prong liver scratcher…… missing five prongs…… right size at least. 😂
