Seriously a little ticked rite now

it is vary much disturbing to think that at any time some one can just add things to your PC with out your expressed permission or knowledge
OK,
This is disturbing……It doesn’t matter if version 3 is the best thing since sliced bread….Version 3 is not what you intended to download…It matters not what Nokta intended even if it was with good intentions…Any update on ANY computer program that I have ever downloaded has always told me the version, AND what’s included in that version…Sorry for your problems, but also show ‘s why I wait for final versions, and wait for the smoke to clear…

how long ago did you download and install 1.10 version 2, because I can tell you V2 is no longer available for download and I would almost be willing to bet you that if you open the updater tool that is currently on your PC that the 1.10 version 2 is no longer there and has been replaced with 1.10 version 3 without you even knowing it, it does not take long to find out just boot up the updater tool and go through the process as if you are going to do the update and see which versions are there, if yours has not changed you will be able to select which version from 1.05-Beta test version 2 just do tel the updater tool to update, and in fact if you do not mind I would appreciate it if you would check and report back

No sir I have not reached out to Nokta about this, i figure it is best that I calm down a bit so I do not say anythiing to them that I would regret saying LOL

all I am telling people is what mine did I had the 1.10 beta Test versions 1 and 2 on my PC and both were there in the last updater tool I could go back and forth to either of the Beta test versions then the 1.10 Beta test version 3 came out, I went into the updater tool that had the V1 and V2 in it by connecting my Legend V2 and V1 was no longer there they had been replace by Version 3, the files for V1 and V2 are completely gone in my PC and a new file for Version 3 is now there

I would like an explanation from Nokta as to how this happened with out me downloading 1.10 Beta Test version 3, do I believe there was any bad intentions by Nokta (Absolutely Not).

it is just troublesome to me that it was done Automatically rather than having to download the version 3 like we have had to do with each and every other new update none and i repeat none of the past updates just magically appeared on our PCs
Hi I did the update 02/03/2023 I did not open the updater tool as it is looking to have my machine hooked up so unless i can connect the legend without doing the download I am a bit gun shy as I would choose to wait till 1.11 is available and has been out and used for a while

the reason I did the up date to the 1.10 version is that when I purchased my machine the mfg. date on it was 04/2022 and it had version 1.07 so I decided to update in doing so the instructions indicated that the 1.10 version also included the 1.09 update so looking back on this it may have been the original 1.10 version

you can connect and not do the update

what upsets me is this

the PC that I have to use to do the new updates on is my desk top PC which is a windows 10 is my Business PC it is the only PC I have that will let the updates go through, I run a accounting and tax prep business off that PC I have well over 1000 peoples personal info on that PC, so I have to take all kinds of security measures to prevent security breaches and hackers from getting peoples personal info which I do not skimp on security measures because of the data that is on my PC, I do have a windows 11 Lap top but for some unknown reason the updates will not work on my windows 11 Lap top, so yes it is troublesome to me, I am not saying that Nokta would do anything but by this turn of events with now not having to download the updates our selves and them just appearing out of the blue unbeknownst to someone it is var vary troublesome, if Nokta can get stuff in without someones knowledge who else can get in
Have you ever tried Zone Alarm Pro virus and firewall app. I used it for many years.
You set up anything you want to let in or out by name. And Nothing else will pass. Sold to many top corporations. They have a consumer grade.
Cost about $80 buks
