When detecting in England, if it beeps, you dig it !!! Even a crappy one way signals. Some find have been in the ground for over 2,000 years.

If you were that old, you wouldnt sound too good either. You tend to dig even the slightest whisper.

Most guys in England are always looking at the TID or graph. I set my machine and put the control unit in my pocket, Deus 1 or 2. I only hunt by sound.

True, most crappy signals turn out to be crap but I do remember a really crappy signal that turned out to be a Saxon sceat. Pretty rare to find as they are teeny, tiny.

Yeah, its a dig it all in UK and numbers be dam !!!

PS. A good signal is usually a good target !!!!! :)

Its about right. Here in the US especially in newly developed areas its either some modern clad, a piece of jewelry someone lost or junk. Could be real boring if you are waiting on something old and good so for that reason in this area anyways you dig about everything as well and be satisfied with whatever you find.
Always thought it would be alot more interesting in places like Europe
