Dug my first “Deus 2 silver” on Saturday, and the ole girl is in pretty good shape. First SLQ that I have dug with a readable date.

What a beauty. One of my favorites. Still waiting for one. I'm 83 now and I can remember handling nothing but silver coins, buffalo nickels and Indians. Now I try and finds some from the past. If only I would have known.
The things we know now, that would have been nice to know then, so much truth El. You never know you might stumble on one, stay positive.

Just curious is this 1917 SLQ the one many had a problem with as it was bare breast , then in 1918 they were changed and liberty breast was covered up.
Any Standing lib quarter with a readable date is a excellent find and hard to come by.
