Land Star Sniper

My daughter in-law received a new Bounty Hunter Land Star as a gift, the muffler on a stick. She is not into metal detectors so she gave it to me.

I have a Deus 1 and a Nox 900, so I thought I would keep it for a backup, or when a grandkid wants to go with me. I have to admit, I have been impressed with this machine, the stock 8" coil air test about 10" on a quarter and is no slouch hitting coins in the ground.

I found a really good deal on a 4" coil an have been blown away by it's performance, it air test a quarter at almost 8" and a dime at almost 7". Perfect little sniper for hard to reach places and so far has not let down, every time I pull it out, it puts a coin in the pouch.

Today I found a nickel hiding in some tree roots, about 5" deep, I am definitely keeping this little setup.
