Anyone have a Xterra pro along with a equinox?

I have a question if you do... From reading I've gathered the equinox coils work on the Xterra pro .But will the Xterra pro stock coil work on the equinox?

I believe Minelab would have to do an update on the 600/800 and I’m not expecting that to happen.

coils for Equinox are multi frequency, Xterra are single frequency don't know if it makes a difference

The internal program in the equinox is programmed to recognize the coil. It might be possible for Minelsb to update the Equinox but don’t bet on that happening.
Minelab would rather you spend $235 + for a bigger coil.

Maybe you are paying more for a multi freq coil that you don't need for the Xterra
It’s so darn close to the 600 / 800. except for the higher ID that if blindfolded you would have a hard time telling the difference.

or you saying the exterra pro is close to the 600 an 800?
I have spent many hours with the 600/800
the Xterra Pro can stand up right with them.

Well, if that is truly the case, the 600/800, 700/900, all became obsolete as all four of these are pretty close, too. HH jim tn
