Nokta service experience?

Does anyone have experience with sending their Legend in to Nokta's U.S. service?

If so, how long was the turnaround? Did the issue get resolved? Were you pleased overall?

I had my Simplex repaired, sent in Control Pod and that was not the problem. Andy sent back the Pod and included a new coil, he verified that the coil was the problem by using my Pod with another detector. My turn around time was less than a week and Andy called me numerous times keeping me up to date on what was going on. You cant beat the service and the knowledge of Andy to make it right and return it in such a quick time.

When you sent it in, did you get any sort of notification it was received or status update?
I understand that Andy is busy, but I'm curious if the unit has at least been received and is in queue?

Guess I'll just cross my fingers for a box to arrive one day soon?

You are responsible for shipping to him and he pays for return shipping. That is the way it worked for me, Simplex was still under warranty. You should have a tracking number check to see when it was received. This is a quote from Andy when I emailed him asking how long it will take: "Yes it is covered under warranty. The longest part of the repair process is the shipping time. I will fix it as soon as I get it".

My shipping info was unavailable via usps. That's the main reason I was curious. Received an email that it will be back shorty!
I hope whatever was wrong is fixed!
🤞🤞

Hello. I'm from Belarus. After half a year of use, Nokta Legend stopped turning on. An autopsy showed that the stm32f765 controller “died” (internal short circuit). It can be replaced, but there is no complete firmware anywhere. I don’t have warranty documents, control units are not sold separately, in general this is sad. But you can study the diagram
