I am just getting back into the hobby after upgrading my 30 year old Whites. So I am still trying to answer that question myself. I know the Ohio Detectorists Association meets at different locations between Dayton and Cincinnati once a month. You can check out their website. I’m planning on dropping in on a meeting and see what’s going on.

There is also the Tri State Historical Research and Recovery Association which meets in Norwood (Cincinnati area) once a month.
