why no quest sub forum ????

Yeah china, like more than half of everything purchased here. Funny how only certain things 'can't' be made or purchased from overseas. Reminds me of when I worked at GM. Seemed like only foreign cars were taboo. Let us not forget how many 'American' companies buy their products from there and slap on their brand.

Some stuff is ok as it helps keep prices down but things that are vital to our well being and survival like medicine should not be outsourced where a potential adversary can can hold that over you.
We can still survive awhile as long as we have the basic necessities of food, water, medicine and fuel.

I'd be checking out the rutus versa if they had a U,S. distributer, muti freq and some interesting features.

theyre turning out some good kit
Really, define "good." I'm seeing videos of them being wrapped around trees.
Maybe people should ask just who Quest is. It is a company owned by Mao Quang Deng who is the owner of Deteknix. First Texas engineers investigated the Deteknix Quest and the software and found it to be
a 1:1 copy of the Teknetics T-2 (a virtually identical set of options as the T2, and the sounds the Quest makes are the same as the T2, as is the Quest display with some minor variation.) And this violates FT
copyright and was in federal court. It turned out as you would expect. Detecknix was rebranded as Quest and if you read on the various blogs seems in the process of abandoning the U.S. (other than dealers dumping them.) Contact seems to be by email to China as is getting parts.

I recently purchased a Quest X10 Pro. Haven't been able to use it outside due the winter weather here, but it seems the build is very robust and I really like the features/functions. I would also like see a Quest sub forum. BTW they are made in China, but are designed in the US.
If you consider they copied the Tek T-2 and violated the copyright then that might equate to "designed in U.S." :throw:

No sign of the new quest machines and no indications about their arrival ,never mind I can buy another new machine as they’re arriving
