Would someone please do a comparison with the stock anfibio coil on the Multi Kruzer so I will know if I should buy an Anfibio or just the coil.

if you look at the accessories list put out by Nocta it looks to be the same for both detectors

Anfibios and the Kruzers .. use the same coil selection
Impact coil cord is shorter because it goes inside the rods

We know it will work on the Kruzer, we want to know if it as deep on the Kruzer as it is on the Anfibio.

Looks like you'll have to wait until a MMK owner buys the new 11" Anfibio coil to report back. No one seems to want to take the plunge.
All I can say is I prefer the new 11" coil over the 9x11 size of the Impact/Kruzer. The rounder shape seemed to have better performance overall using the Anfibio.
So it can make the Anfibio appear to be a better detector. But, many of us who had had both the MMK and Anfibio I believe feel using the same 11' coil in the same modes would be of similar performance. I suggested long ago, if you own a MMK and you happy with it, just grab the new 11" coil.

Quotes:
" Ellipticals are depth limited by their width, and separation limited by their length.
A 5x10" Elliptical will only go about as deep as a 6" round, yet will not separate any better than a 10" round. If the field is tighter side-to-side, then there is also a loss of depth. A 10" elliptical DD has just as long a detection field as a 10" round DD"

"I get better separation with my elliptical 6x10 than I do with my 10DD. It may not go as deep"

"I always have found the round widescan coils will give better depth than an elliptical of the same size.
Compare a joey coil(elliptical) and minelabs own coils(round) of this size(they make two) and both of the minelabs will hit deeper targets then the joey will."

"Round put out a deeper field, but ellipticals usually have a sharper response, particularly on smaller targets.
Depending on the size of the target, and the size of the coil, I'm sure you could see examples of a round coil being superior, and an elliptical being superior. "

Sven I think your right. I guess everyone who owns a Multi Kruzer Is doing the same thing that I am doing and waiting for someone else to buy and test it. Cant blame them for that but I was hoping someone that bought a anfibio might have a Kruzer and tried the coil on it just to see.

I was just thinking, the local dealers sweetheart has a MMK, if it wasn't winter weather, I could have gotten him and her to try my 11" coil. I will give them a shout anyways in case they go out if the weather breaks.
