I do not have any GPS integrated on my Metal detector, so that leads me here to ask if there are any good software for android cellphones that can allow you to tag images with a GPS coordinate that you Can upload? I am new to this so that's why I'm asking for any help.
I heard of a program called InViu Routes. anyone got any experience with this app?

Varge - I use 'BackCountry Navigator' on my android tablet and it has that capability. I don't have an android phone, but I think it works on phones, too. If you look around the playstore for gps apps, you'll find a bunch 'em. I have the public lands boundaries for my state (NM) installed in BackCountry Navigator, which I find useful. I do my research and plug in waypoints (hundreds of 'em at this point) of old trails, mining camps, ghost towns, railroad stops, battle sites, etc. Periodically, I import them into my little Garmin Oregon 450 handheld gps, in case I don't feel like hauling the tablet around on an outing, and/or to conserve battery life.

BackCountry isn't the cheapest gps app, but I like it a lot - I can easily look at a potential site via several different aerial photo sources and several different topo map sources with a couple of clicks.
Some people like "GPS Essentials" (free), but I haven't used it enough to comment on it.
Hope this helps & good luck!
