Whites m6?

Just wanted to ask someone if the m6 has comparable depth capabilities as the orignal Makro racer? I have had a m6 for awhile, but have an opportunity to get one for a heck of a deal. If anyone has used both and can let me know what you think i would appreciate it. Just a relic hunter mostly and iron seperation is not a big deal. Depth is more important to me. Thanks

Stick an sef 12x10 coil on the m6......it will get good depth. You will find you can turn the sensitivity up a little more with the sef on.Never used a racer but i doubt you will see much difference in depth between the two machines in reality.

What about Whites super 12, or is the sef 12x10 better?

I used the whites coil and i was'nt greatly impressed to be honest........i thought my 950 coil was just as deep.
The whites coil hit hard on large deep targets but on coin sized targets it struggled to gain depth over the 950,i suppose it depends on the size of target you are looking for.

I agree. The 10x12 SEF works on my Whites! Beats the stock DD 10"(terrible coil to make stock IMO), and it beats the Ultimate 13 in separation, without doubt.

The SEF 12x10 is a tremendous coil, another one that also gives me great depth is the 12'' Hotshot coil concentric coil from Jimmy Sierra,no longer available as the guy who built them alas passed away, the biggest coil that i have used on these freq Whites detectors is the 18'' Detech coil, gives some great depth on 'large' targets and also good ground coverage, but total rubbish on small finds.

Every hole is like a scratch card. Usually it’s nothing. Sometimes you win a prize.
