Has anyone tried this new service location? If so, what is your opinion, problems if any.

Yes, I've dealt with their new center, "Detector Center," in PA. You contact Minelab first, at "service@minelabamericas.com," and then they give you an RMA number and an address to Detector Center, where you send your machine. I am very impressed, and very pleased. They are fast, timely, and very good at communicating what the status of your repair is. Quick turnaround time, and good folks there. I am quite pleased with the service, all the way around.

Tim,

Calling them leads straight to voicemail (if you mean Minelab's number). You can leave a message and they will get back to you, but I have found it's best to send email. They respond more quickly to email, it seems.
