Holey Two-center...

Hello All,

I had permission to hunt a friend's farm house. I think it is probably 1870's vintage.

I was hoping for some older silver but twas not to be.

IHs 1865, 1881, 1893. Two center is 1864, real nice shape except for the holes. Not sure if it was shot or punched.

Chris

Wow Chris nice haul! About how deep were the coins?

The Two center was quite deep, others perhaps 5-6"N/T

Way to go Chris! I hit a school yard yesterday and got 17 coins...a couple of wheats in the mix. The rest were memorials and clad. The Explorer lives on!!

Two centers and LCs often sound like silver.
