Nice .now you have to do it again.... LOL better silver on edge hits, and better depth accuracy update released.Plus some general improves..

I kind'a expect better over all silver hits from this upgrade... Thanks for the great videos CD.

Hey there Calabash.

Just watched the video, I see you have the SE showing numbers instead of the graph mode. The SE and earlier models had a true two axis display. Watching the cursor move on the display gave huge amounts of information on the target. With numbers only on the display it is much more difficult understand what is under the coil. There are many posts going back years explaining this. The graphs Mike Moutray did when the explorer first came out are still among the best

On later models of the explorer series the ferrous value for all targets except iron was changed to 12, eliminating the usefulness of a two axis display. Minelab took one of the one of the features that made the Explorer series stand out from the competition and eliminated for no apparent reason or advantage.

I agree that the early XS and later CTX are very closely matched depth wise. The CTX does have the ability to show information on co-located targets that the XS cannot, but only on the screen, not audio. My understanding is that the NOX and Deus can give an audio response on good targets mixed in with iron that the Explorer series would not see at all, or only from one angle.

Yes and it really pulls ahead on low to mid conductive targets.
