https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2018/10/30/watch-president-trump-readies-plan-to-end-birthright-citizenship-via-executive-action/

Is it the timing of this announcement, or is it a distraction scenario, or both right at the midterms??? This will certainly cause the CNN Talking Heads to Explode. The Liberal New Media had better get a good supply of Xanax, now that he has proposed this action - LOL!

Makes sense though. If a pregnant couple is in a foreign land and she gives birth there, does that make the newborn a citizen of that country? Don't think so.

Trump will get slaughtered by the lefty 'mountain from a mole hill' makers.

Should have been ended long ago. President Trump is just doing what he was elected to do and people are freaking as usual.

The real treasure is in the hunt...

I don’t think that’s gonna happen.
It sounded like another self aggrandizing interview where he tells another one of his stupid lies just so he can look important.

We are not the only country with birthright citizenship like he says and he’s not a king who can ignore the Constitution and do whatever he wants.

We’ll have to wait and see if he tries it and then see if he gets away with it.

And the POS, Eddie Munster who ran as a Tea Partier and then settled in to be anything but, is busy being a talking head about things he knows nothing about.

He retired and then wouldn't give up his speakership. What a POS he truly is...

The 14th Amendment was passed so that the freed slaves would be considered as legal US citizens. The 14th Amendment was not designed regarding people who were legal citizens of other nations illegally entering the US, having a child, and then summarily being rewarded with legal status. The clause, "and subject to the jurisdiction thereof" is talking about political jurisdiction, not just being physically present on US territory. The freed slaves were not citizens of any other nation...the people entering our nation illegally are citizens of other nations. The intent of the 14th Amendment seems to me to be very clear, but IMO this will most likely go to the Supreme Court for a ruling.

Trump is not lying. He's just way ahead of those that are constantly being deceived, and lied to by the bought and paid for fake media. Not one thing the left wing media has had to say good about Trump out of the 298 good things he has done in the short time of being President. The true signs of who the real liars in play are. My pay check stub speaks, and reflects a lot louder words than any fantasies coming from the left. I guess you could say I am more of a struggling tax payer than I am a dependent recipient of government like many left wingers I know are.

A good analogy, and lesson to share with your children, or grandchildren: Go take their trick or treat bags, and find the ones that have the most candy in them. Tell them they must share, fill, and help with other candy bags with the kids down the street that couldn't get as much candy, or had to stay home, or didn't want to work as hard at trick or treating to get more candy. Notice the look of their faces when you tell them that. Then you can tell them this is what socialism is all about. Ask them what's better, and which way would you prefer your distributions of candy to go? It's the best cure for preventing socializing there is, and can be learned at a very early age in life. This is what's at stake for our country at mid terms by turning more tax payers into the dependent recipients of government if the democrats win. Can't have it both ways.

Teach my kid to share his candy with someone less fortunate.
What a wonderful way to introduce my kid to the teachings of Jesus.
You know, that liberal socialist that Christians sometimes talk about but don’t really like his world view.

You worry about socialists. I worry about people with real power.
I worry about big banks, wall street and the rich people that own our government and media.
I think they're going to crash the economy again.
Hope I'm wrong.

Giving to the less fortunate is different than giving to the lazy and and self deserving .
If you're worried about people with real power , and an economy crash ,wait till ( god forbid ) this country goes full socialist ,,,
I don't think you'll , we'll , be in a better place then .

If someone decides to jump in a pond, and doesn't know how to swim, do you jump in trying to save them knowing they are going to pull you under, and drown you with them no matter what, and there is no other way to save them? Is it better that 2 of you drown, or 1 of you drown in that case? Which way will you choose? I've seen teenagers that couldn't stay out of trouble, and financially drown their own parents because the parents couldn't let go of them knowing they are going to be drowned, and pull them under with them. This requires being able to critically think. America will soon drown without borders, and without law and order. There is just so many pieces of the pie to go around, and more people are going to starve or drown, or do without. It's that mathematically simple. So do you want to see more go down, and drown?

Your trick or treaters I'm referring to are not unfortunate to participate or work hard to get more candy. They are the lazy ones that just don't want to hustle. Jesus also said a man that doesn't want to work, a man that shouldn't eat.

The democrats should be your biggest worry, and nightmare of all power, and corruption. Power over everything including Wall street/Main street. It is in their appetite for controlling everything about you, bottom line. I'm a recipient of my job, not government, and don't want to be, and my job is where it counts. I have more power of my own financial destiny now. Thank you Trump.

A socialized perfect world government that is of entire peace and safety, is the world that only exist in Heaven. Why? Because it will only be the perfect purest form of all government associated only with heaven. Why? On planet earth where we have good and evil that exist, there will never be the elimination of the evil deeds of man. It's been around since the beginning of man. You got to eliminate those traits of sin first before you can have your perfect world, and one must have the knowledge of good and evil, and understand the key influences of Satan. What you are seeing is a spiritual battle of good and evil going on now. This is between God and the devil for your soul, and the souls of many. If you were on a plane that was on fire, and the flight attendant said to you that this door here was the only escape route to safety, and there was no other escape route, would you tell her, or argue with her at a time because you believe in diversifying your outcome of escape routes, and that your situation can be of a different one? Well, I believe our new American society is doing just that same thing to accommodate those who want to believe in other paths of fire escapes, and that being of many. Would the passenger really argue with the flight attendant at a time like that? There is going to be a moment, and time like that for every living man and women nearing their last breath on this earth. It's a mathematical fact that one out of one is going to die someday. The flight attendant has been telling you all along that there is only one door to escape from that will lead to safety, and either way has a permanent outcome of which escape route you take, and a no return once that decision is made.

Nobody in this forum has handlers.
I don’t support abusing the 14th amendment. I don’t support any abuse of any well intentioned idea or law.

My original comment was aimed at Trump and his constant lying and bragging.
If President Obama had that same interview and said the exact same thing that Trump said, would you have agreed with that President?
That’s a rhetorical question.

I understand your concerns about the fears you express. I just don’t share your fear of the Democrats bringing on a socialist apocalypse. That’s not gonna happen.
The Democrats are a bunch of losers who can’t get into office even when they get the majority vote.

My guess is that you'd have agreed with anything Obama said or says and have lots of excuses for his plentiful mistakes.. Or purposeful actions if that's what happened.

Were you onboard for the Iranian deal? Do you criticize Trump for deflating it? Did you read any of his books and figure where he actually was politically?

Just curious...

Nothing wrong with Trump bragging as long as he can back it up with substance like the economy, keeping Americans safe, the lying media, and jobs. I don't know anyone in my life that hasn't ever told a lie. Have you ever told a lie before? Just curious. It's one thing to tell a lie, and yet another thing to live in a state of lying. If you would pay more attention to the ball, you would see that Hilary, Obama, Schiff, Warren, Waters, Pelosi, Schumer, are far more habitual liars than Trump ever was, yet you don't really bash them on here like you do with Trump. Something doesn't add up to all the beans in Birmingham here.

Your more worried about a person's personal character trait here that seems to be getting things done well, and yet pay less attention to the ability of that person's roll in getting that job done as far as using a priority channel. I guess you believe open borders, sanctuary states, and cities, and Caravan's coming in by the multitudes will not effect your medicare, SS somehow, and there is no chance of any of this depleting your well being, plus giving the democrats a safe haven of voting, and chance losing our republic? Is this more important, or is the way Trump delivers his successful results more important to you? Cause that's how I see your delivery in priority. You should be bashing the democrats a whole lot more on here than you do Trump based on that alone.

In a chess game, the four move checkmate is not a fear mongering assertion about to happen, it's a fact on a chess board about to happen just before hearing the words …..check. America has been given a check call, and your well being is on the line. Your move.

Here’s my next and last move for this message thread and I hope this answers some of your questions about me.
I think your heart is in the right place.
I think you’re sincerely concerned that I am on the wrong path.
I think you might be a little suspicious of whatever motivates me.
Please correct me if I’m wrong but I also think you’re a Christian.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you is a central ethical teaching of Jesus, often referred to as the Golden Rule.
I am not a Christian because I only try to follow his teachings on how to behave and how to treat others.
Most of his teachings are spiritual in ways that I can’t relate to or follow.
I’m an atheist and my moral compass is based on the Golden Rule.
The one area where I most often fail to use the golden rule is “respect”.

There are some people I just can’t feel or show respect for and I don’t care if they do or don’t respect me.
I can respect you and your intentions but I will never have respect for Donald Trump. In my opinion he is a lying sociopath.

He claims to be a great Christian.
He lies and cheats on his wives.
He sexually assaulted many women.
He walked into locker rooms to see naked teenage girls.
He abused the bankruptcy laws to avoid paying for a lot of bad business deals.
He thinks not paying makes him a smart business man.
These are just a few of the things that he has admitted to when he thought he was talking to a like minded person.
He said Putin is telling the truth and our FBI is lying about election interference.
He doesn’t care that they are still doing it now.
If the Mueller investigation isn’t stopped I think we’re going to find out how much of a criminal and traitor he is.

If you have felt yourself cringing at some of the things he has said and done, that’s your moral integrity being assaulted.
Sacrificing your moral integrity and principals for the promise of prosperity is like sacrificing your freedom for security. You won’t have or deserve either.

Trump ran on a platform of draining the swamp in Washington and a promise of prosperity for the country.
His “best people” are in jail, going to jail or under investigation and I think you’re going to find out that his role in the prosperity isn’t close to what he brags about.

I bash Trump more than the other people you mentioned because Trump is the President and has a greater impact on the country and in my opinion, nobody lies more than Trump does.

I would appreciate it if some of you would stop implying I’m a stupid Kool-aid drinker and stop trying to tell me what I think. If I haven’t said something you want to know, just ask me.
I never said I’m in favor of open borders, so stop making up what you think my opinions are. I don’t do that to any of you fellow forum members.

I have a different world view then you and different opinions. If you say you are a conservative Christian Republican Trump supporter, I don’t assume you’re morally bankrupt like Trump is.
I don’t assume you approve of grabbing women by the crotch and cheating on your spouse.
Stop making assumptions about me.
If it’s okay for you to bash politicians and other public figures, it should be okay for me to do the same.
If any of you want me to keep my liberal opinions to myself and leave the Views Forum, just say so.
