The only time I read our leftwing local newspaper is when I'm over at mom's to take her to church on Sunday, and yesterday, I noticed that two pages of the funnies were missing.
Turns out the writer of the cartoon "Non Sequitur" tried to hide a very nasty anti-Trump message in the cartoon, and newspapers caught it.
At least one newspaper said it will no longer carry that cartoon on their comics' page:
" A scribbled message in one panel of that day's cartoon appears to begin with "
We fondly say go ..." followed by the message to Trump. [Wiley] Miller appeared to acknowledge the message in a tweet that said "
some of my sharp-eyed readers have spotted a little Easter egg. ... Can you find it?"
I hope other newspapers follow suit---mine probably won't--it's leftwing to begin with.
