I think there's just to many really good coils available. I for one and very happy with both options I have. I dig plenty deep, for the smallest targets. I think the BBS technology would make it very difficult for the diy type.



Been in the detecting hobby for almost 20 years. Currently using; Minelab CTX3030 w/stock and 6" coils. Teknetics T2+. For beach and water I have two Minelab Excaliburs.
