Been working on these two for a while now when time permitted. The Excal 2 I bought new 4 or 5 years ago. It has the remote pinpoint mod as well as the headphone mod that I really like. Done quite a few of these now and I like how they sound. Stock speakers but no outside noise. The Blue 1000 I got in a trade from a buddy. He thought it was shot and unrepairable. Wrong. Sent it down to Kellyco and the guys did they're magic on it. It got a new tube and decal as well as all five potentiometers. New O-rings as well. I got it back and quickly took it back apart and did the remote pinpoint mod as well as adding the new 12x10sef coil. The headphones and new knobs got done too. The Excal 2 is on an Anderson carbon fiber and the Blue is on a green aluminum Anderson over and under. Should have just got another carbon fiber but I was trying to keep the cost down. I have a bunch of other pictures of the process if anybody is interested. Just let me know and if I have what you want to see I'll post them. Been so busy lately that I haven't been able to get out with either of them yet. I'm going out Friday night. The tide won't be right but I'm going anyway. I have to give a big thanks to a certain member here that supplied me with all the components that I needed to complete these two. You know who you are. You gotta let me buy you that beer dude when you get over on this side of the bridge. Thank you very much for all your help and all that you do here for everybody.

Been in the detecting hobby for around 17 years. Currently using; Minelab CTX3030 w/stock and 6" coils. For beach and water I have two Minelab Excaliburs. An Excal II, 10"on an Anderson Carbon Fiber over and under and a Blue 1000 with a 12x10sef on a green Anderson over and under. Both with remote PP and modified headphones.
