Does anyone in the Jacksonville area know if metal detecting is allowed on the beach at Hanna Park?

You are probably never going to find an "allowance " for md'ing there, ... Or anywhere, for that matter. Ie.: As if you're going to find a rule or law that says : " Metal detecting allowed here " type signage/law.

Instead , the question should be: " Is there any prohibition or laws against metal detecting?". If there isn't ( If it is silent on the subject), then presto: It's not disallowed. Right ?

If you're talking about Hanna park in the Jacksonville, Fl area, yes, I have MDed there years ago. Yyou can only detect between the water and foot of dunes.

That is the one. Thanks for the reply Lawrence. I know a number of Florida Parks allow hunting between the tide line and the dunes, just was not sure about Hanna.
