or maybe it's one of those countierfiet ones right Don-SNJ?? First readable coin of 2005:) Usually ya don't see the hair & shoulder scales like this. It was deep & escaped the fertilizer I guess....

Nice find Bill.....I got a KG I in olive oil as we speak ....found it Saturday with the ID Excell.....C$ on the way...

Same as below, anything on the Reverse side?

I think it is a counterfeit, the REX spacing does not look like a regal on a Regal 1775 the R has a big space between it and EX, yours only has a slightly larger space between.
Other than that the Obverse is very very close to the Regal, but not quite clear enough to say for sure.
Wear make postive ID a tad hard sometimes from photos. Plz post the Reverse side and I should then know for sure....

I'll post reverse later....

Great finds. All Tony has to do is find 1 and you can write another story. Mine was the same condition. Frank PS Working on a CW Site for the 3 of us.
