F75 LTD SE first impression

First, the recovery speed is unbelievably fast. I laid 5 coins down 3" apart and it will literally hit each seperately. I added a rusty nail in the middle and it still hit all five. I like my V3i but it won't do that. Next moving on to my coin garden, a well established one, 8+ years. Everything came in clear and strong 6" to 8" no problem. I have a buffalo that has sunk so deep nothing will give a good signal but the F75 did. I was in boost with sensitivety at only 75. I'm thinking of digging it up just to see how deep it is. I also liked using the 2 tone setting then checking the numbers. What a great detector. Next I'm planning on hitting some of my pounded sites and see what happens.

I received my f75se this week(Mon). I also have a V3i. Don't that f75 swing sweet. The V3i feels like swinging a sherman tank. And yes the f75se is quick. I have 2 etrac as well. They feel only slightly better than the V3i when swinging. I got my f75se to hunt with in the rain and relic hunt in big fields. I figure if I hit a hot spot in a field while relic hunting, I can always break out one of the etracs and see if there is any deep silver in that particular area. If only one of these supposed metal detecting rocket scientist could put all the good features from all three detectors-V3i,etrac and f75se in one package we would have one nice detector. It's amazing how low the power consumption is on the f75se but yet it does have some raw horsepower.

Got in a good afternoon with the F75. After reading F75 Compilation #1 and #2 ( if you own a F75 it's a must read! Google it.) I hunted a very small back porch area of a 1920's house, one that I've hunted many times with other machines. I found 3 more coins in a short amount of time, each had in common being in a nail infested area. None were too deep, between 4" and 7". I was running , DP mode, sense 80 to 99, disc 4, and 2 tone. You have to investigate every target above iron tone but if it's good there is no mistaking it. I thought this area was hunted out so I'm really enjoying the F75.
