You'll never know for sure......unless you dig it! HH "Digger"

After more than 46-years of detecting, and having owned dozens of different detectors, I've come to the conclusion that maintaining success in the field is largely dependent on three things..... choice of site, acquiring a proper skill set for the detector and the detector itself..... in that order. Research, practice and persistence. There are no substitutes.

You will have to e-mail or call several dealers. The price I got and the dealer I used may not be the best tomorrow. I wouldn't trust or think anyone on here knows the best price tomorrow without checking myself. Really not that hard to do.

Would this coil be good for nugget hunting in deeper ground? Just wondering.

It would not be my choice. Higher frequency does a better job of exciting gold, nickel, lead, pewter, and other low conductors.

Why don't they make and 8" DD coil? Why do we like switching back and forth from 10" to 6" so much? I guess we are just supposed to use the stock coil.
