LRP on its way

I have been dirt fishing since 2007, when I purchased my first detector - bounty hunter tracker IV.
I have since owned bounty hunter 202, my favorite the bounty hunter 505(x2) with the sniper coil. A whites spectrum eagle( heavy a hell, and too many adjustable menus). Fisher f70 with the 11dd, 10 concentric, and the 5x7 nice machine , but never got used to it.
So, now after really pondering available detectors in my price range, I pulled the trigger on the land ranger pro with the 11dd. I am excited for the first time in a long time about this detector, and how it will perform.I have always enjoyed the lightweight and ease of use that the "mufflers" have provided, now a bounty hunter with Manuel ground balance, v-notch, and a tek type look....sweet !!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats. I love mine. Consider getting a Quick Draw Pro later so you can switch coils between the 10" concentric and 11" DD. The QDP isn't much more than just buying the 10" coil. I haven't found any detector I'd give up my LRP/QDP for, even the new F44 or Whites Treasure Pro.

Coin and Jewelry hunter.

BH Land Ranger Pro
BH Quick Draw Pro
Deteknix XPointer

Have owned different Garretts,
Fishers, Tesoros, Whites and MineLab
in the past 12 years.

Yes sir, I have looked into this detector pretty heavily, having swung " top end machines" - this appears to have just enough depth and just enough bells to make it a bad mamma jamma. Glad to hear your loving the lrp, I have enjoyed your posts, and quite frankly your review of the lrp was the reason I considered it.....thanks hightone!!!!

You will really like the L.R.P. it's good on low conductors, I've found two gold rings in areas that I have hunted with other brands of detectors. The feature I like the most is the variable notch width. Best of luck and Happy Hunting. Bill
