Another Half Dollar / Coins back to 1867 + A few New Smyrna and Cocoa Beach FL finds

Finds are from the past couple weeks or so since my last post from old schools and parks and a Florida beach.

My wife and I vacationed in Florida for a few days so I figured I would let the eTrac detector make the trip also.
After hitting Disney World parks for a couple days and drinking a few $8 tap beers to stay cool I was ready to give the beach a try.
We stayed along Daytona beach first. I just found 9 clad quarters and Misc. other coins and a matchbox car after a couple hours.
With my limited beach experience it was evident I was in new sand as there hadn't been any major storms in a while.

The next day we went through New Smyrna and I fell back into my comfort zone and did some quick impromptu research and found a small inland park that I thought could hold some old coins.
My wife dropped me off in the scorching heat for 90 minutes while she went to a museum.
I pulled 5 wheat pennies back to 1939 and a 1941 nickel and was happy to just get something in Florida with age.
The last day we stayed right along cocoa beach I gave it a try for a couple hours. I first pulled the large family crest medal. It was giving me 12-41 numbers so I thought it was at least an old
Penny or token as I was digging. The small necklace gave me 12-27 numbers on my detector so I was hoping it was a piece of jewelry and it was. I also pulled about 10 clad quarters and large fishing weight.
Tornado and Thunder coils were used.

Locally, I also found my first intact pocket watch at a fairly close old school. I don't believe it is real old. It was just under the ground in sandy soil with the back being popped off from grass growing in it.
Yesterday I nabbed the 1950 Franklin half at the end of the day. It was another half I got on edge. It was about 5 inches deep.

Thanks! It was about 7 inches deep in real fine / sandy dirt. A textbook 12-35 Indian signal.

Thanks!
Yes, it was terribly hot. Not bad along the ocean but the inland park I hit was brutal. Very high humidity also.

Thanks SD,
Yes, those halves are nice to see when they come. The watch and the Indian were found at the same old school site along with the 1867 Indian.
Just not sure how old the watch is. Was just under the ground could easily be 60s.

Great finds Dave! I really like that advertising watch fob. Very unusual. Congrats on yet another half dollar. You have been killing the halves this year. How many have you found so far? That has to be one of the nicest IHP's I have ever seen dug. Incredible details on it. Awesome job as usual and I can't wait to see what you find next.
