I got a few weekend day hunts in at old researched schools and city parks since my last post and these are my finds.
The 1888 V nickel was my first for that year. It has a better than average coin value.
The NHG flat button find is a mystery to me and I will have to do more research on that one.
It was about 8-9 inches deep. I found coins back to 1911 at that site.

Coin Finds
1951,1954 Silver Quarters
1936,1943,1948,1952,1953,1960 Silver Dimes

1893 Indian Head Penny
23 Wheat pennies are back to 1911

Gold Plated Locket
Old Square Watch
Old Charm Bracelet With Knight
Old Jackknife

Nice digs Dave! The NHG piece looks to be a collar disc. Maybe from the National Honor Guard, I saw there is a National Honor Guard Academy online.

Awesome amount and quality of finds Dave. Congrats on that 1888 V nickel. Not an easy one to come by. That NGH does look a lot like a WWI era collar disc. HH and GL Greg

Thanks Dave.
Yes I believe it to be a WWI era national guard enlisted man collar disc.
