cleaning coils and covers

very important to clean your coils every so often, Remove the coil cover and clean the magnetic sand from the coil it does accumulate quit a bit in use or better yet put a small bead of silicon around the edge of the coil cover while on the coil this will keep sand out. this sand will affect the performance of your detector.
