I hope we all have great finds detected this year. :detecting:

I stopped by a local store last week and saw they were selling children's metal detectors for forty dollars. More unsupervised pot holes in our parks? I hope not. Earlier this year I advised a youth to take his spade back home and get a garden trowel which I showed him haw to use. This was in the town square I've detected for twenty eight years and certainty don't want detecting outlawed. We will always need to be on the lookout for newbies. :help:

White's V3i w/12x10 SEF coil & Sun Ray Invader DX-1 Probe, White's Prizm 6T w/Sun Ray Invader PZ-1 Probe, Garrett Ace 250 w/Sun Ray Invader YF-1 Probe, Fisher 1280X for in the water, Fisher 1225X as my seeded hunt machine.

Purchased my first detector in the spring of 1972, slowing down but still having fun.

Happy New Year to everyone also. I hope you all have a wonderful year of detecting. Last year was pretty slim on the detecting adventures so I'm hoping we can get out more often this year than last.
