I've thought about a Gold Bug and yesterday one came up on Craigslist and I bought it. It is a Fisher Gold Bug 2 Los Banos California the person selling it told me his brother in-law bought it when he retired and never used it and when he passed on he ended up with it and knew nothing about it as far as I could tell I was the first person to put batteries in it. It came with a 10"and 14" coils all paperwork, headphones, and hard case. I gave 350.00 for the detector. Knowing little about gold machines did I do alright. Thanks

Ya done did good.

The GB2 was introduced in 1995, and is still being manufactured today virtually unchanged because it's still regarded as the machine that will detect the tiniest nuggets (so small ya almost can't see 'em).
