More lead lol

I got out today & got Into some lead. Some of the bullets were in black powder. They were deep behind a rock break in clay. They were layered on top of themselves. What's interesting is some were star base & others were plane cone base. I guess they had a mixed bag of bullets. HH

Any sign of a rotted ammo pouch? The way you describe it, and looking at how many unfired rounds are there, that seems pretty likely.

Not really although I wasn't digging iron. No plates were in the area. They were found years ago. The bullets weren't wanted. That's why they are there.
