Hi Calabash Digger!

Thank you so much for ur videos man they r outstanding! Super appreciated am a subscriber. I have the deus v5.2 with x35 11". I've been wondering how the different frequencies repsond to separation. I hunt mainly for copper and silver coins and have been using a low frequency ~ 4khz band and sometimes with boost. But I've seen you use high frqs on silver coins and it does an excellent job and I've wondered is a high or low frq better for real world hunting among trash and especially is there any impact on seperation ability between them. CHEERS

Nice one Calabash. My question is what does the 9 or 11 Lf coil do? Just for comparison.

it kinda seems like the higher frequencies will still hammer silver coins at depth, but the lower frequencies 4-8 wont hammer the gold, could be EMI affecting the lower freq's?
i run my X35 coil today in my yard for a few min's and its much more stable than my now useless less than a year old 9"LF,the x35 deleted that coil for me, HH everyone!!

I do respond to questions just been real busy and have not looked at this post till this morning sorry. Running a high freq will make it smack bubble gum wrappers. I run the high freq for relics in iron loaded relic sites. If I was hunting coins in a modern trash site I would not be running 28 kh. I would run 7 kh . The machine becomes very sensitive to small stuff in the higher freqs and would be counter productive in coin shooting in modern trash IMO.

Cal thanks for the reply it had been 2wks so I gave up hope. In that time basically had same outcome as u - high frq for coin shooting no good. to sensitive to trash and noisy. 7khz band did best. Used 4khz for a while but chasing small $2 20mm and medium $1 25mm copper coins (Australia) wasn't getting anywhere near same depth as with 7. 4 is a quite frq but cant see the point going that low. Thanks
