I have been hunting an old house that I cherry picked with other machines. Since then, I have taken a number of good targets out with different DTs. 4 of 5 V-Nickels and 1 Shield Nickel was found with DTs. The reason why, I think, is a combination of hunting style and the DeepTechs ability to "see" coins that have been missed by other detectors. Most of my sites now, I have hunted for the last 40+ years and if I find anything, I have to HUNT !! Coming out of a site with a bag full of finds is a thing of the past. Hunting demands that you move the coil slow, overlapping an inch or so, listening carefully for those deep targets that just make a high-tone whisper. Gridding the area in your mind, staying focused and being patient is a must. I hunt sites that most hunters would walk away from after 30 minutes because it not producing but these are the areas where I get some of my best finds. (Wish it wasn't that way but that is what I have to hunt)
We aren't blessed to go into an old homesite or park and walk out with a pocket full of coins from the 1700 and 1800s. That just doen't happen here and when we find an Indian Head or Barber dime , we've had a good day. HH, Richard
