Hunting started off slow at a big old farm that was recently spread with manure!
So we turned to the yard which only gave up clad coins and a few buttons one older one.
The we hit another mid 1800’s property I’ve hit before and I had two 1926 mercs in a spill one in the plug the other still in the hole
And one foot away a 1928S then near that a great nickel tone on the Deus a older 18?? V nickel
All with in 4ft ot each other in a small strip of the yard.
It only took the last property to give up a few good coins but well worth it.
Not sure if that’s a token on the bottom or coin? Or button?

Nice saves, Mark. Multiple silver makes for a great hunt... looks like a button to me..like from that Waterbury Ct manufacturer.....? I'm sure you're waiting for the manure spread to become accessible..

So...the hunt "started off slow" and stinky?lol! There's nothing like that fresh farm smell! Nice silver's there and who knows what that field will yield when you go back to it?
